Prologue

It has been a long time coming since I have wanted to create a blog.

If for nothing other than to have one, considering that a blog is akin to having a facebook or twitter profile these days, and besides...what better way to put some thoughts out there?

So, that being said, I was inspired to create this as part of the New Year drive, when creating lists of activities and mini-missions to be completed or maintained is all the rage.

This blog, while not being a New Year's resolution in itself, is going to be something I can use to capture what has happened, what is planned and how it is panning out.

The modern version of a diary I guess. Except that this one is no secret and should not be, otherwise, what would the point of putting it on the web be?

My first (real) post (considering that this is merely a prologue of sorts) will be to discuss the year that was and everything it had in store for me. A rollercoaster for certain, but one of the good one's, those that you get off and say "Can I go again? Please?"
